OLGA ARDERIU RIPOLL
Founding member of MDAT Advocats, she is a lawyer dedicated exclusively to criminal law since 1998. She is currently an elective member of the Board of Alter Mutua; Associate Professor of the Degree in Criminology at the Pompeu Fabra University and associate professor of the Master of Law at the University of Barcelona.
She was a Deputy of the Governing Board of the Barcelona Bar Association (2017-2020) and also, Vice President of the Criminal Law Section of the Committee on Culture of ICAB (2008 – 2017). She is a “Master in Law” from the Higher Institute of Law and Economics os Barcelona (1997-1998) and she obtained a collaborations grant to carry out research work in the Department of Criminal Law of the Pompeu Fabra University in 1997.
She has been a tenured professor of Criminal Law at the School of Legal Practice of the Barcelona Bar Association (2008 – 2017) and also of the Master’s Degree in Criminal Law. She has been a speaker at the International Congress of Women Lawyers (2008). She has been teaching classes and confereces in various specialized courses and cycles, both in material Criminal Law and in Procedural Law, organized in different entitis and business and social organizations. Since 2003, she has been coordinating and presenting courses and events organized by the Criminal Law Section and the Women Lawyers Commission of the Barcelona Bar Association. She has been visiting Professor of the Official Master’s Degree in Legal, Forensic and Criminological Psychopathology at the International University of Catalonia (UIC), and she is the author of the Online Gender Violence Course 2011 organized by the ICAB and the Open University of Catalonia (UOC).
As a criminal lawyer, she is the author of articles published in the trade press and a regular speaker in the media at the regional and state level.
RAIMON TOMÀS VINARDELL
Associate lawyer of MDAT Advocats. He has a Law degree from the Pompeu Fabra University and a post-graduate degree specialization in Criminal and Administrative Law from the School of Legal Practice of I.C.A.B. After working in the law firms of “Pareja & Associats, Advocats” and “Cuch i Aguilera, Advocats” he has professionally collaborated with MDAT Advocats since September 2012.
As a criminal lawyer, Raimon has authored several articles published in specialized fields and provides criminal advice to different entities and business associations. He has also participated as a speaker in different courses and seminars organized by professional entities and corporations and has collaborated as An Adjunct Professor in the Degree of Criminology at the Pompeu Fabra University.
IGNASI MARTÍNEZ DE DALMASES
Founder of MDAT Advocats. Headed the law firm Dalmases Martinez, Advocats (2000 – 2007) which specialized in criminal law. He was a Member of the Board of Governors of Il.lustre Col.legi d’Advocats Barcelona (2005 – 2007) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Mútua de Previsió Social dels Advocats de Catalunya, today known as Alter Mutua Abogados. He was also a member of the Governing Body of Iuristel, SA (2004-2006). He has a Master degree specializing in Criminal Law (UPF UB-1998-2000).
He pursued Doctoral Studies at the Department of Criminal Science and Criminology at the University of Barcelona (2000 to 2002) where he worked as an Assistant Professor. A founding member of the Societat Catalana de Victimologia (2004), he served as professor of Spanish Criminal Law at the University of Lyon (France) in the program DUDE (2002). He was also President of the Tribunal de las Pruebas para el Acceso Profesional de la Escuela de Práctica Jurídica de Barcelona (2006).
Since 2009, he has been holding conferences and participating as a speaker at specialized courses of criminal law organized by college centers and others organizations, and has collaborated with the Department of Work Sciences of the Faculty of Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona working as a visiting professor of Criminal Law.
As a criminal lawyer, he is the author of articles published in the trade press and has taken part in “Legal Breakfast” the Legal and Tax Supplement of the Business Gazette (Gaceta de los Negocios), among other contributions to the media at the regional and state level.
SERGI SÁNCHEZ FíGULS
Lawyer of MDAT Advocats specializing in Criminal Law. He has a Law degree from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He also has a Master’s degree specialization in Access to the Legal Profession from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra – Barcelona School of Management. Sergi also has a Master’s degree where he specialized in Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences from the Universitat de Barcelona and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He has been practicing law at MDAT Advocats since September 2018.
As a criminal lawyer, he is the author of several articles published in “La Ley Penal”, the Journal of Criminal, Procedural and Penitentiary Law.
BEATRIZ MAYOL MÁRQUEZ
Lawyer. Obtained her Law degree from the University of Barcelona. She attended Doctoral studies in Criminal Law and Sciences at the same university, obtaining a scholarship in collaboration with the Department of Criminal Law of the Law Faculty (1996 – 1997) and an FPI research grant from the Generalitat de Catalunya (1998). She was awarded the title of Research Proficiency (1997 – 1999) and did her dissertation thesis on “La omisión del deber de socorro agravada del artículo 195.3 del Código penal ” (1999). Her articles have been published in various journals.
She is Professor of Criminal Law from 1997 at the Law School of the University of Barcelona. She taught the subject “Police application of criminal and procedural law” at the Escola de Policia de Catalunya (2003-2004). With a specialization in Gender Violence and Criminal Jurisdiction of Minors by the Consell d’Il·lustres Col·legis d’Advocats de Catalunya, she advised and practiced as a lawyer with “Martínez de Dalmases, Advocats” from 2004 to 2006. She obtained a Master’s degree in Professional Mediation at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2016). She has collaborated professionally with MDAT Advocats since its founding.
JENNIFER LOSADA
Lawyer. Specialized in Civil, Family, Inheritance and Litigation Law. Degree in Law from the University of Barcelona (1998). Member of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB) (1998). Master’s Degree in Family and Inheritance Law, UB (2000).
She began her professional career at the Centro de Estudios Legales law firm where she remained until 2010, when she joined the Aequo Advocats law firm, being responsible for the family law department until 2023, joining the MDAT firm in February 2024.
In addition to collaborating by teaching different specialization courses, and currently being a member appointed by the Governing Board of the Deontology Commission of the of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB), she was president of the Young Lawyers of the ICAB (2005-2007); member of the Board of the Mutual Lawyers Association of Catalonia (ALTER MUTUA 2007-2016); speaker at the Conference on Inheritance Law – Modification of Book IV of the Civil Code of Catalonia (Law 10/2008); speaker at the Congress of Young Lawyers of Catalonia (June 2005); speaker at the XIV of the State Congress of Young Lawyers, conference “Law on Access to the Profession” (2005); member of the Spanish Association of Family Lawyers; professional collaborator in the study and preparation of parliamentary proposals to the draft Law on Voluntary Jurisdiction; Honorary Member of the GAJ Barcelona.
