OLGA ARDERIU RIPOLL
Founding partner of MDA Advocats. She is a lawyer dedicated exclusively to criminal law and has been practicing since 1998. She is the Vice President of the Criminal Law Section of the Committee on Culture of the Bar Association of Barcelona (2007 - 2010). She was designated "Master in Law" by the Institute of Law and Economics, Barcelona (Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía de Barcelona) (1997-1998) and in 1997 obtained a grant to conduct research at the Department of Criminal Law at Pompeu Fabra University.
A Professor of Criminal Law at the Escuela de Práctica Jurídica del Il·lustre Col·legi d’Advocats de Barcelona since 2008, she was also a speaker at the International Congress of Women Lawyers (2008), She has been teaching several specialized courses and has presented in conferences organized by specialized college centers and other organizations. Since 2003, she has been coordinating and presenting courses and events organized by the Criminal Law Section and the Women Lawyers Committee at Col·legi d'Advocats de Barcelona.
As a criminal lawyer, she is the author of articles published in the trade press and a regular speaker in the media at the regional and state level.
IGNASI MARTÍNEZ DE DALMASES
Founder of MDA Advocats. Headed the law firm Dalmases Martinez, Advocats (2000 – 2007) which specialized in criminal law. He was a Member of the Board of Governors of Il.lustre Col.legi d'Advocats Barcelona (2005 - 2007) and member of the Board of Directors of the Mútua de Previsió Social dels Advocats de Catalunya, today known as Alter Mutua Abogados. He was also a member of the Governing Body of Iuristel, SA (2004-2006). He has a Master degree specializing in Criminal Law (UPF UB-1998-2000).
He pursued Doctoral Studies at the Department of Criminal Science and Criminology at the University of Barcelona (2000 to 2002) where he worked as an Assistant Professor. A founding member of the Societat Catalana de Victimologia (2004), he served as professor of Spanish Criminal Law at the University of Lyon (France) in the program DUDE (2002). He was also President of the Tribunal de las Pruebas para el Acceso Profesional de la Escuela de Práctica Jurídica de Barcelona (2006).
Since 2009, he has been holding conferences and participating as a speaker at specialized courses of criminal law organized by college centers and others organizations., and has collaborated with the Department of Work Sciences of the Faculty of Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona working as a visiting professor of Criminal Law.
As a criminal lawyer, he is the author of articles published in the trade press and has taken part in "Legal Breakfast" the Legal and Tax Supplement of the Business Gazette (Gaceta de los Negocios), among other contributions to the media at the regional and state level.
RAIMON TOMÀS VINARDELL
Associated lawyer at MDA Advocats. He has a Law degree from the University Pompeu Fabra and a postgraduate specialization in Criminal and Administrative Law at the School of Legal Practice of I.C.A.B. After working in the Bufetes “Pareja & Associats, Advocats” and “Cuch i Aguilera, Advocats” he professionally collaborates with MDA Advocats since September 2012.
As a criminal lawyer, he is the author of several articles published in specialized fields and provides advice on criminal matters to different organizations and business associations. Moreover, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Catalan Association of Democratic Jurists.
CRISTINA RODRÍGUEZ ORRIOLS
Criminal Lawyer, founded Lexartis in 2006 which has now integrated with MDA Advocats since 2015. A Law degree graduate from the University of Pompeu Fabra, Cristina has spoken at various conferences and taught Masters and specialized courses regarding Criminal Law and Procedural Rights organized by Colleges and legal Associations. She is currently the Coordinator of the Masters in Criminal Law at ICAB and is a Professor of Criminal Law at the University of Abat Oliva imparting Masters courses.
MARTA LÓPEZ VALENZUELA
Lawyer of LEXARTIS, brand integrated to MDA Advocats since 2015. Graduated in Law from the University of Barcelona, where she has also done the University Extension Course on criminal and police practice with witnesses. She has a Master’s degree in access to the legal profession with a specialization in Criminal Law from the University of Barcelona with the collaboration of the I.C.A.B., and has studied specialization in Penitentiary Law in 2016 and 2017 (I.C.A.B.).
BEATRIZ MAYOL MÁRQUEZ
Lawyer. Obtained her Law degree from the University of Barcelona. She attended Doctoral studies in Criminal Law and Sciences at the same university, obtaining a scholarship in collaboration with the Department of Criminal Law of the Law Faculty (1996 – 1997) and an FPI research grant from the Generalitat de Catalunya (1998). She was granted the title of competent researcher (1997 – 1999) and made the dissertation “La omisión del deber de socorro agravada del artículo 195.3 del Código penal ” (1999). Her articles have been published in various journals.
She was a professor of Criminal Law from 1997 to 2005 at the Law School of the UB and taught the subject “Police application of criminal and procedural law” at the Escola de Policia de Catalunya (2003-2004). With a specialization in Gender Violence and Criminal Jurisdiction of Minors by the Consell d’Il·lustres Col·legis d’Advocats de Catalunya, she advised and practiced as a lawyer in “Martínez de Dalmases, Advocats” from 2004 to 2006. She did the Master in professional mediation at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2016). Since its foundation, she has collaborated professionally with MDA Advocats.
